Soft & Hardwood Firewood

Our work focuses on recovering wood so that it can be used for its highest and best uses.

Species: All species and lengths that cannot be made into lumber will be processed for firewood if possible.

While many trees removed during forest treatments are suitable for milling, some contain imperfections or structural inconsistencies that make them unsuitable for lumber. In these cases, the best use may be firewood—providing heat for homes or warmth around a campfire.

Removing this material from the landscape reduces hazardous fuel loads and helps offset the cost of forest restoration, supporting both ecological and economic outcomes.
